Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine
Dr. Bede Cha, DO (pronounced “bead,” like “prayer bead”) is a board-certified Family Medicine specialist with a rich background and a passion for holistic care. Named after a saint from the 8th century AD, Dr. Cha was born in South Korea but has spent most of his life in the United States, where he considers English his first language. He earned his bachelor’s degree from Johns Hopkins University, and completed his medical education at the Georgia campus of the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine.

Dr. Bede Cha, a board-certified Family Medicine physician, brings a rich blend of experience and personal passion to his practice. Born in South Korea and raised in the U.S., Dr. Cha proudly considers English his first language and Georgia his lifelong home. His name, inspired by an 8th-century saint, reflects the deep values he carries into his work: dedication, care, and compassion.
Dr. Cha’s academic journey began with a bachelor's degree from Johns Hopkins University, followed by medical training at the Georgia campus of the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. After completing his family medicine residency at WellSpan Good Samaritan Hospital in Pennsylvania in 2019, Dr. Cha returned to Georgia to serve the community that has always felt like home.
When he’s not in the office, Dr. Cha pursues his lifelong passion for martial arts, which he has practiced since 2005, including Wing Chun Kung Fu, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Taekwondo, Tai Chi, and Aikido. His commitment to holistic wellness extends beyond medicine, as he brings a unique enthusiasm for promoting physical, mental, and spiritual well-being to everyone he meets.
Administrative Operations Manager
Amanda Strength is the Administrative Operations Manager at Agape Family Medicine. Originally from Lanett, Alabama, she moved to Gwinnett County in 2020 with her husband, Dr. Christopher Fay, D.O. Amanda holds a bachelor’s in history from Auburn University and a master’s in Healthcare Administration from the University of Saint Francis.
Inspired by her husband’s journey through medical school, she found her own calling in healthcare. administration. When you call or visit Agape, Amanda is the first welcoming voice and bright smile you’ll encounter. She believes meaningful care begins with a conversation and a genuine connection. Outside of work, Amanda enjoys hiking with her husband, napping with her adorable two cats, and listening to Taylor Swift! She proudly embraces her Swiftie status!
